Victory Africa Ministries started as a Community Based Organization (CBO) in 2004. Later, it was restructured to an NGO status according to the recommendation of local and National leaders. VAM is governed by seven board members committed to fulfilling the organization’s mission. The founding members were drawn from a network of Christian churches that identified needs within their congregations and the general community. A number of consultations were held from 2005-2009 with appropriate district leaders, parliamentarians, and Honourable Ministers of Tourism, Finance, Internal Affairs, and the Governor Bank of Uganda, in relation to all current and prospective projects. The Honourable Minister of Finance and the Governor of the Bank of Uganda endorsed VAM projects based on the existing feasibility study and financial viability of the services. The implemented projects bring sustainable and productive impacts to the community as predicted.
